Players who ended up creating and leveling up characters on the opposite factions from their friends have been asking for this type of functionality for some time, and we're pleased to be getting closer to being able to deliver it."

You can on the original. But Blizzard said they will not be putting LAN multilayer on Starcraft II which has pissed a lot of people off, including myself.

Yeah that is pretty retarded... to be honest I dont think ever played starcraft one as a single player ever in muh life.
